Free Printable Vintage Musical Bookmarks | Cozy Flowers & Romantic Style

Free printable vintage bookmarks with cozy flowers and musical designs by Tizi Cozy Corner

__ Freebie Day ! πŸ˜€πŸ”–πŸ“–πŸŒΈ__

Hi friends, and welcome back to my cozy reading nook! ☕🌸

As this month draws to a close, I wanted to create something truly special to wrap up our time-travel reading journeys through imperial atmospheres and classical music.
Today, I am thrilled to share a very special bookish freebie with all of you!

I have spent the last few days playing with digital brushes and textures to design a collection of three exclusive, double-sided vintage musical bookmarks that you can download and print for free!

Each design is deeply inspired by the vivid imagery and atmospheric historical novels we explored together recently. They are a little thank-you gift for making our bookish corner so alive and wonderful.

🎨 Discover the Collection:

  • * 🎹 The Piano & Forgotten Melodies:

A delicate front design featuring a piano matched with soft light blue and violet flowers, with musical notes floating through a beautiful vintage frame. On the back, you will find a timeless, inspiring quote by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart over an aged, semi-transparent sheet music background.

  • * 🎻 The Violin & Romantic Whispers:

A passionate yet sweet bookmark showcasing a classic violin paired with vibrant fuchsia blossoms. The reverse side features a deeply poetic and romantic quote about the hidden feelings of our hearts by the great Italian master, Antonio Vivaldi.

  • * πŸ’› The Gramophone & Golden Eras:

A cheerful, nostalgic design with a vintage gramophone surrounded by warm, sunny yellow flowers. On the back, a lively and beautiful quote by Sergei Rachmaninoff celebrates the universal language of music.

πŸ–¨️ How to Print Your Freebies:

To get the best possible results, I highly recommend printing them out on high-quality cardstock rather than regular paper. This will give your bookmarks a professional, sturdy feel—making them the perfect, cozy companions for your physical books or a lovely gift for a fellow reader!

How to download:
Simply click on each preview image below to open it in full size, then right-click and choose "Save image as..." to download the high-resolution files to your device! πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡

I hope these bookmarks bring a touch of vintage romance to your reading hours! If you are looking for more book recommendations filled with court intrigues, breathtaking history, and symphonic secrets, don't forget to explore my special Viennese & Musical May page!

Thank you for being part of my cozy corner. Happy reading, and see you very soon with some exciting new Italian summer vibes!πŸ˜œπŸ‹πŸ‰πŸΉ

I hope you will like it. :-)

Hello friends,
Happy Mardi Gras !
:-D

I’ve always been captivated by the colors, the sparkle, and the mystery of Carnival masks. 🎭✨

Being Italian, every year during this period my readings are mainly set in Venice, the city of masks par excellence, where Carnival has always been a legendary and eagerly awaited event.

I’ve always preferred historical fiction over contemporary stories. I love being transported to Venice in bygone eras—especially the 18th century. I can almost see the ladies in their voluminous evening gowns, lace, and fabulous wigs, and the men in tricorn hats and dark cloaks, all hiding behind mysterious masks...
There is such a unique liveliness against the backdrop of a Venice made of water, fog, bridges, and gondolas.

I love stories of espionage and secrecy, and the Venice of ancient times, in all its splendor and corruption, is the perfect setting for these tales.

Would you like some great suggestions
for historical mysteries set in 18th-century Venice?

Here you are :

Book cover of Scherzo by Jim Williams
Scherzo:
Murder and Mystery in 18th Century Venice
by Jim Williams
GENRE: #Historical-mystery
My rating: ★★★★☆

__IN A NUTSHELL __ Ludovico, a young singer in the splendid yet corrupt 18th-century Venice, discovers a body hanging from a bridge.
Alongside the famous philosopher Voltaire and the legendary Giacomo Casanova, he is pulled into a dangerous investigation.
Will the mysterious Count of Cagliostro reveal the truth?

... If you're glad to know my thoughts about the book, read my full REVIEW of Scherzo by Jim Williams here.

Book cover of Ascension by Gregory Dowling
Ascension:
The Alvise Marangon Mysteries book #1
by Gregory Dowling
GENRE: #Historical-mystery
My rating: ★★★★★

__IN A NUTSHELL __ Set in mid-18th century Venice under Doge Pietro Grimani. Alvise Marangon is a cicerone (tourist guide) who finds himself caught in a political plot after a murder.
To avoid prison, he must become a spy for the Doge.
A gripping mystery featuring gondoliers, librarians, and high-stakes intrigue.

I really loved the main character and you can read full REVIEW of Ascension by Gregory Dowling

Book cover of The Four Horsemen by Gregory Dowling
The Four Horsemen:
A Venetian mystery with surprises at every turn
The Alvise Marangon Mysteries book #2
by Gregory Dowling
GENRE: #Historical-mystery
My rating: ★★★★★

__IN A NUTSHELL __ Venice, 1749. Alvise Marangon, raised in England but Venetian by birth, officially works as a cicerone for touring English nobles.
Secretly, however, he is a confidential agent protecting the city from dark plots and espionage.
This time, he is pulled into a dangerous game involving rebels and the insatiable greed of disreputable Venetian nobles.

This sequel is even more compelling than book #1! I really loved it, but I highly recommend starting with the first book to fully enjoy the characters' evolution and the rich setting.

Something for those who love romantic fiction

Book cover of The Venetian Mask by Rosalind Laker
The Venetian Mask
by Rosalind Laker
GENRE: #Historical-suspence-romance

__ NOT YET READ _ ON MY WISHLIST__

__IN A NUTSHELL __ A tale of enduring friendships and long-held vendettas set against the decadence of 18th-century Venice.
In 1775, two best friends, Elena and Marietta, marry into feuding families.
As the French Revolution looms, they must risk everything, using the city's tradition of mask-wearing for noble purposes rather than mere debauchery, to save a political prisoner.

I haven't read this one yet, but the plot sounds absolutely captivating!
Has anyone read it? Let me know in the comments!

Free Printable Romantic Ballerina Bookmark & Card | Vintage Stationery

A freebie for you: Free Printable Romantic 'Ballerina' Card and Bookmark

Hello everybody ! 😘

Do you love the charm of vintage style? Do you often find yourself lost in romantic thoughts while reading a good book?
Today I want to share a special graphic design I created. It features a graceful classical dancer caught in a quiet moment, reading what looks like a heartfelt love letter.
To make it even more special, I’ve paired the illustration with the moving romantic verses of poet Robert Creeley.

This design is part of my "print on demand" collection (currently on cushions, but coming soon to mugs and sweatshirts!). However, I wanted to give something back to my lovely readers.

You can DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE to use as a card or a bookmark!

It’s the perfect companion to keep your place in your favorite historical novels or to send a sweet note to a friend.

How to get it:

Just CLICK on the PREVIEW IMAGES below and SAVE THEM to your device

The scene shows a classical dancer reading what looks like a love letter. Next to the drawing are some romantic verses by the poet Robert Creeley.

I konw it's almost Halloween and perhaps it would have been more appropriate to publish bookmarks with Halloween images (which I already prepared a month ago because I printed them on breakfast mugs), but Halloween is not a holiday that I like too much and I prefer romantic or cute drawings... but who knows ...maybe next days I'll change my mind.

I hope you will enjoy it. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day !
